CAMPUS REP PROGRAM

Make a Difference Abroad is a young, non-profit organization that operates at the local level in the country of Mexico.  We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing students who are active on their college campuses; involved in extracurricular activities; and motivated to join our small team as a Campus Representative.

The Campus Representative is a (volunteer) student who serves as a liaison between a campus and Make a Difference Abroad. Responsibilities include a focus on spreading the word about our program through marketing and public relations; working with peers, youth organizations, and the university community to build awareness of our project; and acting as the driving force for student applications.
Each and every one of our representatives plays a big part in reaching out to their local communities. By doing so, they contribute heavily to our organization through relaying information about us, strategically placing advertisements, and networking. As communities  learn about our cause, they will have a chance to make a big impact on the lives of many deserving children.

Make a Difference Abroad focuses on linking volunteers, interns and experienced teachers with low income children who attend public schools located in colonial, traditional and safe cities in the country of Mexico.

What You’ll Get in addition to the experience of a lifetime and the opportunity to change lives:

This is the perfect opportunity for students looking for business experience while still being able to prioritize their studies. A major benefit of taking on a campus representative position is that once you finish you can use the experience, skills, and attributes from this position to strengthen future job or internship opportunities! Some students refer to campus representative positions as “the other internship” meaning that they’re equally impressive to add to your resume but require less time and effort because you get to choose your own schedule.

We'd like to have you on our team! Come help us to make the world a better place.
